The 5 Bandol terroirs collection.

The vines draw their nutrients from a limestone bedrock formed from bivalve shells that piled up on the ocean floor in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

It is a long time since this ocean disappeared and yet it is still present –in a very subtle way- in this chewy cuvée.

The soil has a high proportion of limestone but it is very dense so not very permeable to water in the top layers. The roots are scarce, quite big and work their way through the soil to find water.

Beautiful deep colour. Complex nose with fruity and spicy notes. The attack is rich and tasty with fruity notes. The finish is harmonious with melted tannins in the mouth.
